Don't Waste Your Student Life.

        This speech is not a recent piece of writing. I delivered it in front of my friends in 2024 at an English coaching center while I was learning English. I am still a student and continue to improve my English skills. I am sharing this speech as part of my learning journey and to preserve the memory of one of my early public speaking experiences.

    My dear friends! The most beautiful stage of a person's life is “STUDENT LIFE”. This is the stage when one lives one's life without caring about the cruel world. A child’s mind is like a lump of clay which is moulded into the best shape during student life. Student life can be very wearing, but it lays the foundation stone for the whole life. Thus, if your foundation is strong, the building will be strong too. However, a weak foundation cannot make a building stand.

    But it is the matter of great grief and pain that most students are hollowing out their own foundation. They don 't understand the value of student life, waste their valuable time on mobile phones by scrolling through reels and watching short videos.

    No doubt , The mobile phone has played a major role in converting this world into a global village. If any student uses it positively to receive knowledge and education, their future can be bright. But there are only a few students who operate it positively to take advantage of it and to acquire knowledge.
There are a large number of students who waste their precious time in unnecessary and futile things .The time of a student that should be spent on studies, is being wasted in surfing the internet.

        My friends! As a student I believe that as a labour spends most of his time in labouring, an employee in employment, a farmer in farming and a businessman in his business, in the same way, a student should utilize most of his time in acquiring knowledge.

    My brothers ! If your parents have given you a cell phone it doesn't mean that you are allowed to waste your time in it from dawn to dusk.

        Remember! A mobile phone can be such a toxin that ruins the whole future of a student . It is the greatest reason of separation from books, libraries, teachers and friends. Moreover it causes several health problems.

     According to " British Psychological Society" it increases tension, depression, stress, anxiety and ophthalmological diseases in the person who uses it even one hour in a day .

    My brothers ! Remember, your future depends on your present, your present time will decide your future. Now you are not realising the importance of this golden life. But when your educational period passes and you are not a successful person, and you are not able to do something better for yourself and your family, At that time you will regret. But remember my friends! Your regret in the future wouldn't make any difference, and your past student life will never return
back.

    So I heartily request you to value this student period, to be attentive towards your destination, and to build a strong foundation to adorn your future.
